The ComiCity Editorial Guidelines define what can and cannot be published. Our goal is simple: to ensure a creative, free, and fun space while maintaining a respectful environment suitable for everyone.
A strip is considered PUBLISHABLE only if it meets all the criteria below.

When you request publication, your strip enters the Pending Approval state. The editorial review checks whether it meets all guidelines.

Yes, as long as it is not a direct attack on identifiable real individuals. Satire about systems, social dynamics, or abstract concepts is allowed.

Can I use sensitive themes?

Yes, if handled with a comedic, surreal, or grotesque tone. Discriminatory or violent content toward protected categories is not allowed.

Why was my strip rejected?

Most likely because it did not meet one of the editorial criteria. You can edit it, adjust the content, and resubmit it.

Who decides if a strip is publishable?

The evaluation follows the official guidelines and is performed by the editorial review system, which checks for consistency, respect, and comedic context.
